How Stackfi works
Buy a whole basket (tokenized US stocks, crypto, and stablecoins) in one click. Every fund is a non-custodial vault, backed 1:1 on-chain, with a NAV you can verify anytime.
The building blocks
Fund (basket)
A tokenized portfolio of constituents (tokenized US equities, crypto, and stablecoins) with target weights that sum to 100%. Holding one fund unit means holding a fractional claim on the entire basket.
Vault & reserves
Each fund's assets live in its own non-custodial vault contract on-chain, backing units 1:1. Proof-of-Reserve on every fund page lets you verify the backing ratio and constituent balances at any moment.
NAV per unit
Net Asset Value is the oracle-priced sum of every constituent weighted by its share of the basket, divided by the unit supply. It is recomputed continuously from live price feeds, with no manual updates.
Composition & weights
Each constituent has a target weight (in basis points) and an actual weight that drifts with price. The gap drives rebalancing and the premium/discount you see versus NAV.
Subscribe, redeem, and pricing
Subscribe (buy)
Mint new units by depositing backing assets. In cash mode you pay a single asset (e.g. USDC) and the protocol routes the swaps; in-kind mode deposits every constituent pro-rata with zero swap slippage.
Redeem (sell)
Burn units to receive the underlying. In-kind redemption returns the actual tokens and is ALWAYS available; it can never be paused or gated. Cash redemption swaps your share to a stablecoin in one atomic transaction.
Slippage & NAV-protect
Every quote shows minimum-received and price impact before you confirm. If an oracle is stale or deviates too far, cash trades pause (NAV-protect) to prevent mispricing. In-kind exit stays open.
Fees
A fixed 1% subscription fee, 1% redemption fee, and 2% annualized management fee, the same for every fund, not set by the creator. All are shown before you trade.
Launch and manage a fund
Launch, no code
Use the wizard to compose constituents, seed the vault, review, and deploy. The fund lists in the marketplace the moment it is seeded, with a fully auditable breakdown.
Rebalance
Adjust target weights over time within protocol limits. The protocol keeps NAV constant across a rebalance and records every change on-chain for transparency.
Non-custodial by design
You can never withdraw reserves, pause redemptions, or mint units without depositing backing assets. Investor exit is enforced by the contract, not by you.
Compliance & eligibility

- How far market price sits above (premium) or below (discount) NAV, closed by creation/redemption arbitrage.
- In-kind
- Depositing or receiving the actual constituent tokens rather than a single cash asset.
- Proof-of-Reserve
- On-chain verification that a vault holds 100% of the assets backing its units.
